Sitting on a bench

You decide to rest your weary feet and sit on a bench overlooking a beautuful view of a tranquil bay with the deep blue sky stretching into the distance. Some nearby birds sit tweetering to themselves and a small squirrel plays joyfully amongst the bushes.
It's at times like these that you wonder why such a beautiful planet has things like Disease, third world debt, suffering, starvation, GM crops and Microsoft Windows ruining it.
